IT Specialists in this job role will have expertise in managing and operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed services, management of the change process, and maintenance of regulatory, legal, and professional standards, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance, and management of bought-in services including, for example, public network, virtual private network, and outsourced services. Typical examples of the deliverables are service-level reporting, risk, and contingency planning. IT Specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment. The employee focuses on individual/team/department/ operational objectives.Sharing information and assigning work to link employees' work with IBM's strategy, market performance, and local organization goals. Simplify complex objectives and help individuals and teams align priorities with IBM's strategic direction. Assign individuals and collaborate with other leaders to allocate employee resources in a way that best fits IBM, project / account, and individual development needs. Accept accountability for business results, including customer satisfaction, productivity, financial and other business metrics. Leading or participating in organizational planning, providing leadership and support to ensure that business objectives are met. The Northern Territory manager must be a professional with a bachelor's degree, capable of handling groups under pressure and experience of the following knowledge or skills:Managing field service personnel performing routine on-site services, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Supervises programming and training of field service representatives. Responsibilities also include the management of service contracts and the management of support services to achieve Service Level Agreements.
