Compensation and Benefits Sr. Professional Mexico
As a Compensation & Benefits Sr. Professional, this position will ensure consistent application of Honeywell's pay philosophy and drive our pay for performance culture. Key success factors include the ability to build credible business partnerships with front-line management and HR Generalists.
The role will be based in Mexico City, Mexico, and will require some travel.
Compensation & Reward Management • Facilitates the consistent application and communication of the company's pay for performance philosophy and all Compensation & Benefit processes across assigned population. • Develop guidelines, practices and tools to facilitate effective compensation planning that differentiates rewards based on performance. • Help C&B Manager in leading key initiatives, projects, program and processes for Latin America Compensation and Benefits group.
Internal Consulting • Provide compensation & benefit guidance and expertise to HR, business managers and leadership. • Coach and educate HR on compensation process and programs. Process Improvement, Program Effectiveness and Policy Harmonization • Support C&B Manager in standardize compensation and benefit plans within key geographies within Mexico or businesses, balancing market alignment, business needs, cost considerations, economies of scale, administrative ease. • Project-manage the roll out of new corporate-sponsored and/or region/country-specific programs within the region. • Evaluate base salary, total cash, and benefits market competitiveness with external benchmarks. • Partner with HR teams to periodically review the consistency of band placements, job families and job titles to ensure data integrity of job data. • Review existing compensation and benefit programs for alignment with market and perceived value, and recommend opportunities. • Ensure compliance of compensation and benefit programs with changing legal/tax requirements.
Basic Qualifications • Bachelors Degree with emphasis in HR, Finance or related field. • Minimum of 3-5 years Compensation or strong analytic experience. • Minimum 4-6 years experience directly related to Human Resources and/or Finance. • Bilingual in English and Spanish, is a must, with ability to write and converse with different levels within the organization. • Ability to travel periodically throughout Mexico region and Latin America.
Basic Qualifications • Bachelors Degree with emphasis in HR, Finance or related field. • Minimum of 5 years Compensation or strong analytic experience. • Minimum 6 years experience directly related to Human Resources and/or Finance. • Bilingual in English and Spanish, is a must, with ability to write and converse with different levels within the organization. • Ability to travel periodically throughout Mexico region and Latin America.
Additional Qualifications • Postgraduate education in HR or MBA preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Flexibility to work under pressure and concurrently on multiple projects. • Knowledge of MS Access, PeopleSoft queries, GHRRT, and other internal Honeywell processes. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Strong project management experience. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to understand and manage data. Strong process and detail orientation. • Ability to prioritize work assignments, establish/meet work deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities. • Ability to work effectively with all stakeholders across multiple functions, businesses, and countries with diverse needs and requirements.
