Business Leader, Public Relations - Geo North

The Communications head for the GeoNorth Division serves as part of a regional communications team in charge of creating, implementing and managing integrated communications programs in support of corporate objectives, priorities and the company's vision while planning while executing communications activities in their own Divisions.

Role

The position reports to both the Marketing Divisional Vice President and the Vice President of Communications for LAC.

Serves as member of the senior management team of each division.

Participates with the management staff in charting the direction of the Organization, assuring its accountability to all constituencies, and ensuring its effective operation.

Within the Organization, the position has primary working relationships with internal and external audiences.

Outside the Company, it reaches out to the various stakeholders, including customers and consumers, merchants, government and media.

Develops communication strategies related to organizational policies in collaboration with regional and global teams.

Create the digital and social media strategy for effective communication, including online communities, search engine optimization and other digital marketing tools.

Manages third party vendors and task-specific consultants.

All About You

Post-graduation degree in a related field, including public relations, journalism, communication, and marketing.

Excellent communication skills, particularly when dealing with an international, multilingual audience, and ability to adapt style to suit different communications media and audiences.

Ability to work on own initiatives and as part of a team, and willingness to 'pitch in' if required.

Ability to handle multiple projects under time and resource pressure.

Be detail and results-oriented.

Have knowledge of budget processes and evaluation of outcomes analysis.
