Hilton Area Senior Sales Manager - Hilton Mexico City Reforma in Mexico City, Mexico

Hilton is looking for an experienced Area Senior Sales Manager to manage Hilton’s Worldwide Sales accounts. The Area Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a large roster of accounts that have a high potential for growth and will have a strong focus on account development to drive revenue and market share growth.

What will I be doing?

  • Responsible for account management and account development for a large roster of accounts
  • Manage roster of accounts that have a high potential for growth
  • Responsible for account qualification and compliance to account governance protocol
  • Collaborate with Hilton’s Worldwide Sales Specialists and other relevant stakeholders to provide total client solutions
  • Present a sales pitch to clients with more complex needs across multiple areas of the business
  • Strong focus on consistently building client accounts by utilizing the organization's sales techniques and strengthening existing client relations
  • Utilize sales growth techniques to drive revenue and improve client total brand usage
  • Capable of dealing with objection handling by using a repositioning sales strategy or by successfully negotiating, if and when applicable
  • Reliably respond to more complex client requests with an overall solutions approach
  • Incorporate a personalized approach to the organization's existing client acquisition sales techniques to enhance selling performance
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of sales principles and best practices
  • Apply best practices in day-to-day client data management and maintaining clients' privacy, using the organization's CRM program
  • Personally plan time to maximize sales and receive approvals
  • Demonstrate and apply a deeper knowledge of sales techniques used to increase the revenue per client
  • Ensure revenue targets are achieved
  • Use a personalized approach to ask prospective clients for the sale
  • Communicate hotel promotions with a high degree of ease to support client needs
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor strengths and weaknesses
  • Incorporate industry and client analyses to forecast future client needs
  • Drive results through customized solutions

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High School Degree/GED
  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to speak, read, write in both languages
  • In-depth knowledge of the Hospitality industry
  • Strong negotiation skills in order to maximize value for internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to travel as required

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of and use in Delphi or similar property sales management system
  • Experience using Salesforce
