The Inside Sales Representative, is responsible for all sales activities in an assigned market at a dedicated District site. Their primary mission is to drive demand and revenue with our Sales People into Del-EMC's installed and net new accounts. Duties include outbound calling, prospecting, and driving specific sales programs to grow Dell-EMC's market share. The Inside Sales Rep, cultivates the skill set required for Dell-EMC field sales or other divisions of Dell-EMC.
Performs outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, sales qualifications, and offer extensions to existing or new customers.
Accurately updates and utilizes Salesforce.com to track all sales activities.
Meets or exceeds quota goals in an assigned market with a specific district sales. Ensures sales targets/objectives are achieved quarterly and annually.
Meets or exceeds activity metrics for scheduled calls, opportunities added, net new accounts and units sold.
Effectively leverages internal resources (e.g. District Manager, Technical Consultants, Solution Specialists, Global Financial Services) and Sales resources to drive transactional volume.
Collaborates with manager to develop territory plan to identify key target markets and plans sales campaigns to drive demand for a dedicated District Sales.
Builds and develops relationships with an assigned partner and maintains contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, basic and complex issue resolution, and Dell-EMC's footprint expansion.
Maintains working knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition in order to position Dell-EMC products effectively with customers.
