Honeywell Sr Business Analyst in Mexicali, Mexico

Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) business is a $1.6 billion portfolio of several product lines over three major customer segments in ATR, BGA and Military. The products are designed and manufactured globally. The APU Program Manager will work closely with Product Line Leaders and Product Action Committee to support execution of key strategies and action plans for both existing and new APU products including (131-9, 331 series, HGT1700, 36-150 and RE220).

Specific responsibilities include: •Lead and manage the APU cost takeout initiatives to support APU Op Inc growth, including Boeing AOC, Sourcing transitions, eAuctions, Design Cost Takeout activities to improve UPC for 131-9, 331, 36-150 and RE220 APUs. •Support VPD maturity milestones including preparation of bronze assessment. •Manage OMC cost reduction actions and execution with functional groups, ISC and the APU PAC (Scrap, and Quality Escapes) •Manage and support APU STRAP, Business Plan updates and Product Week actions and presentations. •Manage and support IPDS phases 0,1 2a and 2b activities on APU development programs. •Support/lead effort to identify and execute late cycle product strategies •Generate end-of-life forecast demand in support of IPDS Phase 7/ obsolescence issue resolution •complete marketing analyses with primary focus on aftermarket to establish revenue and margin growth strategies & actions •Analyze APU utilization trends for auditing our payment receipts on our aftermarket maintenance programs Additional areas of support: •Industry and competitor analyses •financial business case development •Product cost analyses •Scrap and Other Manufacturing Costs analyses •Inventory analyses •others as determined by PPM

Basic Qualifications •Bachelor's Degree in an analytical or business field (engineering, economics, math, marketing, strategy, management or related discipline) •2 plus years of Project Manager experience

Additional Qualifications •2 plus years of experience of Program Manager •MBA from top tier school desirable •Broad aerospace product knowledge •Advanced skills in reporting tools such as HMR and SAP •Green belt certification desirable •Program Management Skills, including leading teams, managing MOS, influencing across functions, & managing action items to completion •Strong written and presentation communication skills •Proficiency in Microsoft Office •Strong skills in Excel with familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, & other quantitative functionality •Ability to occasionally work a flexible schedule to accommodate global teams •Marketing Skills that include but are not limited to the following: Industry analyses, Competitor Analyses, Financial Analyses, Value Proposition, Go To Market Strategy, Pricing Strategy, Market Sizing, Segmentation, & Channel Management
