Develop assignments and projects. Participates in projects as a representative of manufacturing engineering with minimal direction. Supports the production floor.


5 + Years experience in Software development for Measurement system and Industrial control

Proven knowledge in LabVIEW/C#/Visual Basic for Process automation

Proven knowledge in Data Acquisition and signal processing, DSP and FPGA knowledge is a plus

Knowledge in AOI systems by Keyence/Cognex/Omron. Raw Image processing knowledge with matlab/LabVIEW is a plus

Deep understanding of drivers development for Instrumentation (DMM, Oscilloscopes, GPIB, RS232) is required

Low signal and instrumentation understanding, including noise reduction,supression and isolation techniques

Deep understanding in motion control for Servo/Steppers/AC Motors

Knowledge in SQL Database and data logging thru ODBC

Knowledge in OPC Server and PLC to PC communication protocols (Modbus, EthernetIP,etc)

Ability to develop and sustain proprietary software for End of Line Testing

Good coding Practices thru software life cycle. Experience in Version control and multi-developers environment is a plus.

Ability to balance quality, compliance and safety to meet customer requirements

Good problem solving skills through the use of quality and statistical tools (like Minitab)

Excellent communication skills, self-managing, and detail oriented.

Reading and interpreting customer prints.

Proven experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Six sigma certification is a plus

Knowledge of automotive quality systems

Knowledge and experience with PFMEA and PPAP
