PURPOSE:

The GHS Site Medical Lead will manage a cross function health and wellness team at a single site or multiple near proximity sites and is responsible for the provision of Global Health services including Occupational Medicine, Wellness & Health Promotion programs and Employee Assistance programs. S/he directly supervises Occupational Health Physicians and Nurses, administrative staff and occupational health technicians working in clinical settings at their location(s).

Main responsibilities:

•Accountable for successful implementation of all GHS services (EAP, Wellness & Occupational Health) by applying centrally developed strategies, resources and tools locally.

•Provides clinical healthcare services including: medical care for Injuries & illnesses, Case Management of Occupational Injuries and Illness, Medical Surveillance examination and general health education and coaching.

•Is responsible for compliance associated with occupational health at the locations they support including, compliance with applicable local regulations and recordkeeping and J&J global health standards.

•Accountable for leading their team and local HR, site managers, EHS, and other stakeholders and in the local application of a health and wellbeing strategy for their location(s) and leads a team of healthcare, wellness and mental health professionals who will execute on that strategy.

•Drives increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing.

•Is accountable for delivery of agreed-to regional Health metrics and outcomes.

•Creates value by driving greater efficiency and standardization in the deployment of GHS resources, processes, procedures and programs using a regional construct.

•Continuously monitors all aspects of site GHS performance, providing direction to their staff and vendors providing wellness services at their locations

•Leads the talent acquisition, development and management process for their staff.

•Provides GHS technical assistance and support as needed across all campus locations.

•Periodically engages business leaders to review Global Health performance and compliance.

•Is responsible for development and meeting site budget expectations.

•Fosters an atmosphere of openness and information sharing in order to encourage a culture of

•high awareness, transparency and diligence with respect to GHS matters.

•Responsible to cascade Enterprise GHS organizational annual goals to Juarez Campus GHS operations staff and to monitor progress.

•Will also perform direct reports annual performance evaluations and career planning conversations as well as to provide feedback to the Juarez Campus Manager on his/her staff performance and development goals.

•Responsible and Coordinate medical exams of Live for Life Program

•Responsible and coordinate employees’ medical files requirements

•Provide support to EHS programs.

•Follows all company ** EHS policies and other safety precautions within the work area

•Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.

•Follow J&J and Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.

•Responsible, Organize and coordinate the Medical Preventive Campaigns.

•Comply with GHS Medical Training.

•Responsible of applicable Global Health Services training to new hire associates.

•Coordinate and Participates in Medical Education Planning.

•Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements and Education:

•Licensed Physician.

•Occupational Health certification or equivalent preferred

•Requires 6-8 years of relevant experience in the health field and Occupational Health

KEY SKILL / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

SKILL SETS:

•Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred

•GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred

•Knowledge of product and process design and development, materials, standardization science and applied statistics

•Knowledge of project management and cost analysis preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS:

•Knowledge of Excel, Word, electronic mail system
