BRP US Inc EHS Coordinator in Juarez (Ave Santiago Troncoso), Mexico
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Coordinator of Health, Safety and Environment, is responsible to Lead, Develop, Apply, Maintain and Guide the Management system of Health, Safety and Environment of BRP Mexico, as well as maintain compliance with the Mexican Law.
He/she is the responsible of compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental Corporative policy of BRP. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Responsible to provide guidance and direction on safe working techniques and re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Company.
Responsible for assisting in the identification of possible losses; evaluating the risk in such loss exposure; developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss and audit the plan to ensure its effectiveness.
Responsible to provide reports on timely manner to VP, Directors, Managers and Corporate, as required by the organization.
Provide advice, assist, and audit line management to ensure that effective EHS is implemented and working. Perform and contribute to the Site Training Plans by conducting employee orientations; emergency response training; and coordination of modular training programs for the Operation to ensure all people are trained in accordance to their role and responsibility.
Responsible to ensure inspections and programs by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected. Coordinate with VP, Operations, Directors and Managers on facility deficiencies and monthly safety inspections, Maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements.
Lead the Emergency Response Teams and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Assist with maintaining the Site Preparedness and Emergency Plans & Procedures.
Promote eco-friendly activities inside and outside the facility
Manage and assure the properly disposal of recycling, non recycling, organically and hazardous material.
Ensure facility installations are in accordance and up to date to the Legal Frame for Mexico (NOM, STPS, SEMARNAT, SEDUE, LGPGIR, LEGEPA, COFESPRIS and other legal dependencies).
Ensure that contractor personnel working on the property are in compliance with BRP policies and safety requirements.
Travel to site including to corporate and operational offices as required and perform any additional duties as required.

Engineering Degree Chemical-Biological, Environmental, or Equivalent in Experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety role.
Knowledge of the Environmental Protection, Health and Industrial Safety for all the requirements need it, to operate in accordance to the Mexican Legal Dependencies.
Verifiable knowledge in Environmental Audits.
Knowledge in handling of hazardous materials.
Software packages Word, Excel, and Power point.
Knowledge of Risk management.
Knowledge and application of Environmental management systems and Safety (ISO 14000, OSAHS 18000, etc.) CORE COMPETENCIES
Team Player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external.
Strong Written and verbal communication skills, English 80%.
Strong Organizational and Interpersonal skills.
