Job Description


Software Engineer for the Electronic Braking Systems will be responsible for supporting the CAN development of embedded software for electronic brake control modules.

Core Responsibilities:

­ Work with embedded software using C language

­ Implementation of CAN software requirements based on customer/internal requirements

­Use CAN development tools including GENy, CANalyzer or CANoe

­ Provide timely solution for all issues identified at all stages of product development including direct hands­on analysis, debugging or redesigning of software

­Test software, using a variety of test environments to ensure adherence to customer/internal requirements

­ Support of peer reviews through all development stages

­ Support meetings with cross functional project team, software/test team, and customers as needed

Job Requirements

Job Requirements Basic Qualifications:

­ Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

­ Good written and verbal communication in English. Able to discuss and present technical issues in fluent English, within one­to­one and team environment

­ Willing to work in distributed global teams and handle mtultiple tasks with defined deadlines

­ Experience working with any programming language in implementation, debugging and testing stage

­ Experience working closely with CAN communications

­ Minimal travel required after initial training period. Initial training period might require traveling to the USA and Europe for multiple weeks. Eligibility to receive US visa is a minimum requirement

Preferred Qualifications:

­ Mor than 1 year of professional experience in automotive electronic products or systems

­ Ideal candidate has experience in electronic brake systems

­ Professional experince in C/C++ programming language

­ Professional experience with CAN development tools including GENy, CANalyzer or CANoe

­ Experience working with FCA or Ford

­ Excellent problem solving skills and attentions to details and quality

­ Drive to learn fast and finding effective resolution in ambiguous situations

­ Candiate with valid passport and US Visa will be preferred
