Job Description

Overview: Support the primary vision of the Corporate Indirect Purchasing organization of: 1) providing High Stakeholder Value, 2) low Total Cost of Ownership, and 3)high Efficiency. This will be achieved by the Procurement Center Buyer through quick turnaround, professionalism with the customers, and issues resolution through permanent corrective action. This position is a key interface with our customers and our success depends on high performance.

Responsabilities: Review and approval of shopping carts, creation of purchase orders ensuring the quality of information and processing times.

Identify savings opportunities by combining requirements for the same supplier base or material category.

Negotiate price for low value orders, contributing to the profitability of the company

Setup, quoting and negotiation of new parts within the spare parts storeroom

Confirmation of receipt and delivery date of purchase orders for the spare parts storerooms in each location

Identifies and proposes the creation of electronic catalogs to reduce manual processing requirements

Verify and give feedback to our requestor if there are electronic catalogs available, promote its use.

Identifies and establishes a business relationship with the supplier panel.

Identifies potential opportunities for improvement within any category and works in conjunction with the RPS to develop strategies

Independent management of tenders or projects of low complexity (from 10K Euro to 25K Euro and one location).

Know and analyze processes and/or information in order to propose improvements within the purchasing department.
