Job Description


Design electronic solutions automotive grade compliant in order to fulfill functional specification requirements and customer expectations. Ensure all quality elements of the electronic circuit design by performing analysis such as Wost Case Analysis, FMEA, Simulations, Thermal analysis, Characterizations, etc. Select the most appropate component and topology for the electric circuits considered. Submit component request and generate proper documentation such as bill of materials, schematic drawing, test reports among others. Participate in the test plan and verification/validation plan of the product. Assist the PCB layout creation. Work actively as technical support during product launch in manufacturing

Additional responsibilities

Manages the requirements and translates them to electrical circuit proposal (drawing, simulation and characterization)

Assures the support to TPL/PM providing EE deliverables on timely basis

Manages the validations (EV, DV and PV) providing support to tech and test plan creation

Researches, recommends and implements EE improvements for cost reductions

Responsable to promote the use of state of the art technology

Manages meetings with other colleagues in other sites, provides status and create technical presentations to internal / external customers.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering (BSEE)

3 years of experience on product development (automotive related is preferred)

Enlgish at high level to mantain technical discussions and deliver effective presentations

Preferred Qualifications

Masters in Electronic Engineering (MSEE) is desired

7 years experience in product development using Matcad, Orcad PSPICE, Zuken/Mentor/Altium

Experience with Switching Power Supplies and EMC topics
