What you will do?* Manage moderate sized projects leveraging resources from multiple functional areas.
Provide assistance in running pre-audit reports and distributing that data to all required parties across the Enterprise.
Assist the Risk Management Team in the IT audit comments - follow-up process.
Assist the Risk Management Team in discovering ownership for IT assets associated with OS/Application vulnerabilities.
Perform risk assessment activities for Deere units across the enterprise.
Perform root cause analysis of assessment findings to drive process improvements.
Review existing processes for opportunities for continuous improvement.
Provide security consulting to IT and the business partners.
What you’ll take?* Knowledge of operating systems environments and the respective security mechanisms that are administered. Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Knowledge of user credentials storage concepts (i.e. RACF, NT, Active Directory, Mail Administration). Has an expert understanding of the principles, can apply the information to complex situations, solve complex problems, conduct research/break new ground, develop new applications, and provide expert support for other practitioners.
Knowledge of computer security integration.
Knowledge of security processes, administration tools, and general security architecture. Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.
Information technology experience and/or business experience. 3 - 5 years.
General computer security or information technology (IT) auditing experience. 1 - 3 years.
University Degree (4 years or equivalent) in an Information Technology discipline.DESIRED:* Understanding of John Deere's computer security policies and a detailed knowledge of computer security concepts
