Title: Design Engineer

Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León (MX-NLE) - Garza Garcia

Function: Product Engineering

You can expect the challenge of designing the new generation of features or products for John Deere. You will be challenged by different feature improvements and new products projects using several engineering design tools.

What you´ll do?

  • Design engineer for new EPDP and CI buckets and C&F attachments project.

  • Work with local (IJD) manufacturing and quality engineers to ensure design meets manufacturing capabilities.

  • Coordinate and lead local workflow through IJD factories.

  • Create BOM structures.

  • Improve design based on FEA results.

  • Analyze designs utilizing analysis engineering tools as Creo Mechanism, Creo Simulate, Manikin, etc.

  • Coordinate prototype building and participate in testing. Take results and improve designs.

  • B.S. Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical engineering, Aeronautic engineering.

What it takes?

*Experience on Product Design.

*CAD software experience.

*Strong English skills, speaking and writing.

*Strong drive by results.

*Proactive.

*Strong mechanical design skills.

DESIRED:

*Familiar with Creo software.

*Familiar with PDM/Windchill.

*Manufacturing knowledge.
