  • Directs the roles and activities of the Plant Controller located in Wilsonville, Oregon

  • Responsible for the consolidation of all satellite plants manufacturing financial performance, analyzing the data to ensure consistency among the locations.

  • Directs the manufacturing function during the preparation of the annual budget and strategic plan process.

  • Manages the analysis of Cost of Goods Sold on a monthly and quarterly basis, providing guidance for any fluctuations between periods.

  • Performs Capital analyses for the division; calculating the ROI, payback and OI impact for capital projects.

  • Performs calculations and analysis on actual savings for the business in preparation for plant operation reviews.

  • Performs monthly analysis of the major material commodities, analyzing the prior period trends and forward estimates to determine the impact on the business unit.

  • Manages the maintenance of the standard cost file, as well as standard costs for the S&OP database.

  • Acts as a partner to the business teams, providing financial expertise, including decision support and analysis.

  • Directs all internal and external financial reporting analysis for manufacturing. Handles special projects as assigned.

  • Education required: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Strong computer skills-proficient in Excel and Word; ability to work with mainframe systems. BPCS and SAP experience a plus

  • Normal mobility, manual dexterity, normal visual and auditory ability.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write college level Spanish and English language.

  • Federal and local Tax knowledge (Mexico).

  • Supervise Mexican financial and tax audit.

  • Supervise Mexican customs compliance.

  • Support and assist other functional areas of the Plant.

  • Financial Analysis (Bridges, Actual, Variances).

Experience required for the position:

  • Minimum 7-10 years financial and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
