The Senior Well Site Manager is accountable for the daily operations of multiple rigs (4+) and/or complex Projects and the execution of the drilling programs. Accountable for all rig operations at project level and ensures HMS processes are applied in the execution of well construction. Responsible for providing support for all drilling and other well operations taken at the rig site. Oversee and lead day-to- day drilling initiatives, anticipate operational changes, find and implement remedial solutions to operational drilling problems, and prepare and execute short term and long term plans anticipating required resources (rigs, personnel, services) for multiple rigs

The Senior Well Site Manager is accountable for the daily operations of multiple rigs (4+) and/or complex Projects and the execution of the drilling programs. Accountable for all rig operations at project level and ensures HMS processes are applied in the execution of well construction. Responsible for providing support for all drilling and other well operations taken at the rig site. Oversee and lead day-to- day drilling initiatives, anticipate operational changes, find and implement remedial solutions to operational drilling problems, and prepare and execute short term and long term plans anticipating required resources (rigs, personnel, services) for multiple rigs. Capable of supervising, advising, and motivating a diverse team of Well Site Supervisors while emphasizing collaborative teamwork, training, performance, efficiency improvement, safety and environment, cost control, and adherence to established policies and procedures. Identifies methods to apply technology, best drilling practices, service capability and expertise within the context of drilling operations. Communicates with Well Engineers, Rig Contractors and Operator representatives on a regular basis to ensure all parties are aligned with Project metrics. Responsible for the training & development of all Well Site Supervisors and their competency development and provides work direction and mentorship on a regular basis to Well Site Supervisors. Manages service providers and third party contractors with respect to contracts and deliverables requiring a commitment to quality from all employees, PSL’s, and subcontractors working on the Project. Typically requires a Bachelor of Engineering, preference in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering, (or suitable STEM degree) and 15+ years Drilling and Completions Project experience with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to manage a team. Must have a Well Control Certification. Experience working in different work environments and in various International locations is preferred.
