Expedia Partner Operations Specialist in Cancun, Mexico


Role Purpose:

Account management role dedicated to a group of In-Destination LX partners (Up to 7) assigned by Partner Operations Country Manager. This role will serve as day to Expedia contact with our partner’s mid-level management and sales team.

General Responsibilities:

  • Daily communication and interaction with partner’s sales team and management

  • Proactively manage partner, providing feedback and guidance to sales team operating both our Pre Arrival and Desk programs.

  • Set targets and ensure understanding of revenue driven metrics for partners

  • Verify on a daily basis that partners have Expedia provided tools to ensure sales are maximized

  • Serve as a backup to Five9 Specialist. Ensuring that partners have Expedia guest to call on a daily basis and expired names have been removed.

  • Review only a daily basis a sample size of pre-arrival calls from each market. Ensure Expedia guidelines and procedures are being followed.

  • Lead sales training initiatives for partners including the development of content with internal and outsourced training providers.

  • Provide ongoing business support in the development of marketing collateral

  • Review and approve all marketing collateral produced by our partners to ensure quality and compliance with Expedia Brand guidelines.

  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvements through regular meetings and follow up with recommendations and implementations.

  • Collaborate with managers of LX Partner Operating Markets to address needs assigned operating partners, focusing on operational excellence and guest service.

  • Support operating partner’s ad hoc needs to ensure the mutual success of our partners and LX.
