LABELS & DOCUMENTATION DESIGNER

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Uses computer graphics to create and edit different kinds of product & packaging labels. These include labels for packaging , safety labels, product labels, print-on-demand labels, and miscellaneous others.

  • Creates databases linked to configurable label.

  • Gathers and correlates basic product labeling information.

  • Performs layout assignments involving vector graphics, bitmap graphics and multilingual text.

  • Performs routine layout assignments involving product model images, digital photographs, graphics and text.

  • Create, capture, convert and refine product models to be utilized as graphic representation of products or procedures.

  • Generates documentation and technical specification documents regarding colors, materials, placement, etc.

  • Applies Brand Identity Guidelines and Schneider Electric Standards.

  • Supports the Label team in developing training material, presentations and process documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors in Industrial Design, Graphics Design or Technical Diploma in Graphics Design, with at least 2 years of experience.

  • Software: proficient with MS Office, Adobe Suites, Label Wizard (plus)

  • Ability to execute assignments independently.

  • Knowledge of basic technical drawing principles.

  • Knowledge of basic engineering documentation principles.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish)

  • Detail- oriented.

  • Ability to multitask in high paced working environment.
