Schneider Electric, the Global specialist in Energy management, is seeking an Intern to Assist R&D; Engineering Team with Mechanical & Electrical Project activities at the Monterrey Design Center located in Parque de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológica (PIIT) in Apodaca.

  • Willing to commute (ability to travel from home to work by yourself) – closest bus stop about 5km away from the plant or a Carpool initiative

  • Work with project documentation (bills of materials, CAD drawings)

  • Project development; assembly, validate and test

  • Get the essential information of engineering reports and draw conclusions

Qualifications

Active Student: 7th - 8th semester of Bachelor in Electromechanical / Electronics Engineering

Core knowledge in:

  • Electro mechanical design

  • Electrical systems

  • Electric power distribution

  • AC/DC circuits

  • Ohm's Law

  • Measurement equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope)

*Complementary knowledge *

  • Project managment tools (desirable)

  • Reverse engineering awareness

  • English: High 90%

  • CAD (ProEngineering, Solid Works)

  • Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
