What do you get to do in this position?

A Continuous Improvement Engineer must be an excellent influencer, communicator and coordinator at all levels within the organization. Be collaborative, proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities and capable to adapt to a dynamic and fast changing environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationship across all levels of the organization.

  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma skills to address complex process opportunities with simple solutions.

  • Reduce unscheduled downtime utilizing TPM processes for dies and molds.

  • Identify constraints to achieving goals and collaborate to find and implement effective solutions.

  • Identify and justify investment opportunities to maintain world class processes.

You fit the following Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and root cause analysis

  • Project management understanding

  • Ability to drive process and culture change in a mature organization is highly desired.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Leadership: Driving results through influence and collaboration
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced English level
  • Excellence in Customer Satisfaction
  • Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to strategically eliminate barriers
