Project Manager controls execution of projects for new products, technologies, customers, components, suppliers and sub-suppliers according to strict deadlines and within budget by acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and stakeholders in order to deliver projects according to plan. Project Manager supports team members in defining the project’s objectives and oversees quality control throughout its life cycle.


Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all projects development from beginning to end.

  • Support and direct project team members in defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with plant management and stakeholders.

  • Support and control definition of project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties.

  • Set and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.

  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

  • Estimate the budget resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

  • Track project milestones and deliverables.

  • Ensure the delivery of progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

  • Responsible for overall maintenance of projects accompanying technical documents.

  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned projects.

  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the projects.

  • Create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

  • Define tactics and assign them to the subordinates to drive continuous improvement in excellence (yield, productivity, OEE, Poka-yoke, ppm and support BCS activities).
