Sensata Technologies, Inc. EDI Business Systems Analyst-2 in Aguascalientes, Mexico
Provide support for day-to-day and new development activities for all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)-related systems and interface points. This position will require interaction with both internal and external customers, high level management and coordination of activities with our 3rd-party provider.
Functions/Tasks/Duties to be performed:
Provides support and issue resolution, across global EDI Applications, align different parties in order to achieve the required results.
Research and resolve all EDI setups, data feed and communication problems.
Participate in projects in needed phases, support requirements completion, project tasks and verify ultimate solutions meet requirements.
Work with internal departments to define and analyze EDI system needs and requirements, and communicate those needs using the proper tools to the IT organization.
Communicate between supply chain teams, business teams, IT teams, and 3rd Party vendor, with the ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience, and an ability to understand and interpret business requirements.
Take needed problem solving actions based on business requirements and priorities.
Develop and deliver user-training documents.
Supports tracks of global full life cycle Oracle implementations, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures that the company may undertake.
Manage current engagements with customers and suppliers.Required personal skills:
Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree preferred in Engineering
Good written and oral communication skills
Fluent in English
Detail oriented individual with the ability to coordinate numerous activities
Proactive and self-independent in performing daily tasks
Problem solving capabilities based on defined requirements and priorities
Good analytical skills and the desire to be part of a problem solving teamSpecialized Experience/Knowledge and technical skills:
Knowledge of financial systems, ERP being a plus
Experience with UNIX a plus
EDI knowledge a plus
Good technical / analytical skills
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office
