Eaton Corporation Regional Program Manager - Americas in AGU, Mexico
Responsible for managing the Core Valvetrain project portfolio and successful execution of New Product Development
(NPD) and Standard Transition Process (STP) for all programs within the region. Supports execution of Cost Out/VAVE
and other special projects for the assigned region.
- Simultaneously monitors all core valve programs being launched across the region, ensuring adherence to the Eaton
Business System (EBS)
- Establishes goals and objectives and provides support to the program teams by coordinating regular reviews and
decision gate meetings. Also provides direction in areas of customer concerns or potential changes in scope and risk
- Champions Integrated Project Team (IPT) leadership across the Core Valvetrain programs. Coordinates and monitors
cross-functional team members in the product lines and facilitates the implementation of program management processes
at plants in the assigned region.
- Leads customer interaction and improves organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communicates and
manages customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
- Maintains and reports program metrics for all Core Valvetrain product launches within the region. Provides regular
updates to the business unit as well as divisional, group, and sector levels.
- Manages customer contracts, pricing, terms and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization.
Supports customer strategy team in contract negotiation activities. Ensures effective change management process is
Plays a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program plan.
Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback/rewards on performance
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 4 years’ business experience in an engineering organization
Fluency in English (verbal/written)
This position offers relocation within Mexico only
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
Experience in New Product Development (NPD) programs
Work experience in Program Management or a combination of Engineering and Product Development
Work experience in Core Valve Manufacturing or at least basic understanding of manufacturing processes
Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP)
